Program Costs and Funding

Program Costs

Euromasters charges tuition fees, which amount to £ 10.470/program (UK students) or £ 15.750/program (international students). Tuition fees are payable to the University of Bath. Additional administrative fees may accrue at partner sites.

Additionally enrolment fees of around 315 € have to be paid for each semester at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. This amount includes service fees (around 110 €) as well as a  seasonal student ticket for public transport (Semesterticket) in and around Berlin for six months (200 €).

Funding

A limited number of competitive fee reduction scholarships are available at the University of Bath in recognition of high academic achievement (the equivalent of a first class Honours degree or, exceptionally, a high 2:1 degree).

The University of Bath offers 2 scholarships for September entry:

  • One ‘full fee’ scholarship for the first academic year only
  • One ‘half fee’ scholarship for the first academic year only

In order to apply for a scholarship, applicants must submit no more than 500 words detailing why they think they should be considered, based on academic achievements and contributions to the programme. This can be submitted at the time of application, or once you have applied, using the Application Tracker.

Please remember to indicate on the admissions form that you wish to apply for these scholarships.

All scholarship applications must be received by the University of Bath before 30 June 2021.

Further information can be found on the homepage of the University of Bath.

Additionally, students with a permanent address in Germany and a secure and long-term residence permit status can apply for federal financial support abroad (Auslandsförderung, BAföG). A part from living costs BAföG also offers financial support for travelling costs and tuition fees up to 4600€ for one year.

Furthermore there is a variety of foundations that provide financial support to students, the most famous ones being those affiliated with German political parties. Moreover, there are several funding options offered by corporations, union and even by individuals.

An internet search is highly recommended (i.e. Association of German Foundations). Each foundation chooses the candidates according to its own criteria for eligibility. It might even be the case that you cannot apply on your own but have to be recommended by a third person.

Most foundations offer a special academic support program alongside the student’s regular studies. Additional counseling is provided by the Studienkompass and e-fellowers.

All applicants are highly encouraged to apply for external funding. On the following pages further information on scholarships as well as a list of relevant scholarship institutions can be found:
