1.    Internship Colloquium | Portfolio

Students must attend an internship colloquium prior to beginning the internship. Here they can ask questions about the internship, course leaders can outline the logic, reasons for and goals of an internship and provide information on their formal requirements. The colloquium is offered several times a year, although students only need to attend one.

Following the colloquium, students are required to create a portfolio, for which there is a credit certificate. The requirements for this are discussed in the colloquium. If the internship has already been completed without attendance at a colloquium, it will be possible to attend a colloquium retrospectively.

2.    Internship| Internship Report

Length

for StPO 2014: 350 hours (9 weeks)

Internships can also be completed part-time, over a correspondingly longer period of time.

Internship Report

To complete the internship and have it recognised by the Department, students must complete an internship report. This should be composed of a chapter of reflection of the student’s development throughout the internship, along with a description and an evaluation of the professionally relevant competencies that were developed as a result of the internship.
