At the Research Group of Comparative Political Behavior, we currently seek to fill a 

Postdoctoral Researcher Position

starting 1 November 2023 (or later) (end date: 31.12.2025)

 

Tasks

You will contribute to the project COVIDEU in which we study the impact of crises such as COVID-19, the climate crisis or the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine on public support for the EU and political behavior more broadly.

The project is conducted by Heike Klüver in collaboration with Sara Hobolt (LSE), Toni Rodon (Pompeu Fabra), Theresa Kuhn (Amsterdam) and Michał Krawczyk (Warsaw) and it is funded by the Volkswagen Foundation.

You will support the principal investigators with data collection, data analysis and the publication of the results in top international journals.

 

Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of quantitative methods (in particular causal inference, survey experiment and field experiments)

  • Strong command of English

  • PhD in Political Science (or close to completion)
