Vita

Charlotte graduated in political economics (B.Sc.) from the University of Mannheim and Bilkent University, Ankara. During her M.A. she specialized in International Relations and in the sociology of scientific knowledge and graduated in peace and conflict studies from Augsburg University and SIS, American University in Washington, DC. She worked at the German Embassy and at the Federation of American Scientists (FAS). From 2014 to 2018, she was researcher and lecturer at the Chair for Political Sciences, Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Augsburg. From 2018 till 2021, she was a team member of the EU Horizon 2020 project on science diplomacy (S4D4C), associated with the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW). Charlotte is a mediator and was an academic trainer in the CIMIC simulations with the Austrian Armed Forces as part of the M.A. programme for peace studies at the University of Innsbruck. Charlotte is currently working on her PhD thesis, developing perspectives from the Transrational Peace Philosophy (Innsbruck School of Peace Studies) in science studies.
