Prof. Silvia von Steinsdorff, together with Ece Göztepe, Maria Abad Andrade and Felix Petersen, has published a comprehensive study on the Turkish Constitutional Court. The work "The Constitutional Court of Turkey. Between Legal and Political Reasoning" reconstructs the unfinished institutionalisation of the Turkish Constitutional Court and traces the dogmatic lines of conflict as well as methodological inconsistencies in the court's fundamental decisions. The study provides new insights into the role of constitutional courts in the grey zone between democracy and autocracy that point far beyond the Turkish case.
