The Summer School combines:

  • Lectures and debates with leading academics, diplomats, and practitioners

  • Fieldwork and street interviews

  • Intercultural communication workshops

  • Visits to memory sites and political institutions

  • Public engagement activities such as high school presentations

Focus Areas

  • Reconciliation and mutual understanding in the Balkans and across Europe

  • EU enlargement and integration processes (focus on Western Balkans & Kosovo)

  • The rule of law, democracy, and media pluralism

  • European identity, citizenship, and memory culture

  • Public engagement and policy recommendations

The detailed program for 2025 is currently being developed. While not yet finalized, it will closely follow the structure and themes of the 2024 edition (Program of the Touring European Summer School 2024). We will share the final version with participants as soon as possible.
