Rohan Khan is a doctoral researcher in the Emmy Noether research group Varieties of Reproduction Regimes: Institutions, Norms and Social Inequality at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) since January 2023. His dissertation focuses on the reciprocal relationship between public opinion and reproduction policies in comparative perspective. Rohan Khan examines the conditions under which public opinion impacts legislation in the areas of contraception, abortion, and medically assisted reproduction. He furthermore investigates how reproduction policy contexts shape attitudes towards gender, sexuality, and family.

Rohan Khan received his bachelor's degree in sociology, political science, and economics from Zeppelin University in 2020. He subsequently completed his Master's degree in sociology at the University of Konstanz in 2022.
