Profile

Lukas F. Stoetzer is a researcher at the cluster of excellence Contestations of the Liberal Script (SCRIPTS)

He previously worked at the Political Science Institute of the University of Zurich and as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of Political Science. He earned his doctorate with a thesis on spatial voting behavior at the University of Mannheim in March 2015. He completed his BA and MA studies at the University of Essex and the University of Konstanz.

His research interests are the comparative political behavior of parties and voters and the development of quantitative social science methods. His work has been published in the Journal of Politics, Political Analysis, British Journal of Political Science, Electoral Studies.
