Culture and Citizenship: Nationalism and the Emergence of Political and Social Rights in Germany and Britain

Summary of the project

The theoretical and conceptual stage of the research project “Nationalism and Citizenship” is now complete, and articles detailing the findings have been published in leading journals in the social and political sciences. The material relating to the empirical project: Nationalism and Citizenship in Germany and Britain is yet to be published. In addition to the proposed project on nationalism and citizenship, a number of other research activities were undertaken in areas of research related to citizenship, nationalism and ethnicity.
