Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin - Political Sociology and Social Policy

I am Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Social Sciences, Humboldt-University of Berlin.

My main research interest lies in the political economy of inequality, redistribution, and development, whereby I draw on comparative as well as behavioral approaches. My work has among others been published in Political Science Research and Methods, Social Science Research, and World Development.

I received a PhD in Political Science from Central European University and previously held postdoctoral positions at the University of Bremen and Bard College Berlin and served as Interim Chair (visiting professor) of Comparative Politics at Humboldt-University of Berlin. I have also worked with and for international development organizations, including the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), the Institute of Development Studies, and the German International Cooperation (GIZ).

Since October 2023, I have been working at the Chair of Political Sociology and Social Policy under Prof. Dr. Hanna Schwander.
