The Research Group of Comparative Political Behavior (headed by Prof. Dr. Heike Klüver) at Humboldt University of Berlin invite applications for a

Postdoctoral Researcher Position

starting 1 October 2025 (or later) (end date: 31.08.2028)

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Conduct collaborative research as part of the Comparative Political Behavior Group and the Humboldt Governance Lab, with the goal of publishing in leading international journals.
  • Teach one course per semester (90 minutes per week during two 13-week terms per year).
  • Develop and lead your own research agenda, including publications in peer-reviewed journals.

 

Your profile:

  • PhD in Political Science or a related field (completed or close to completion)
  • Strong expertise in causal inference, survey experiments, and field experiments
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
  • Interest in far-right politics or gender and politics is welcome but not required
