Short Profile


Dominika Tronina is a doctoral research and teaching fellow at the Chair of Comparative Political Science and Political Systems of Eastern Europe at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since June 2020. Since October 2020 she is a member of the Berlin Graduate School for Social Sciences. Moreover, she is an associate fellow of the division on Communication Theory and Media Effects at Freie Universität Berlin as well as the Center for Comparative Research on Democracy (CCRD) and the Center for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies (ZtG) at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Dominika Tronina studied Eastern European Studies, Sociology and Polish Studies at Freie Universität Berlin and Universität Potsdam with academic stays at the universities in Warsaw/Poland and Haifa/Israel. Moreover, she has worked at the Berlin Social Science Centre (WZB) and the Centre for East European and International Studies (ZOiS).
