Research Training Group "DYNAMICS"


 

Franziska Veit joined the research training group “The Dynamics of Demography, Democratic Processes and Public Policy” (Dynamics), jointly organized by the Hertie School and the Department of Social Sciences at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, as a PhD candidate in September 2024. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from Humboldt University. During her studies, Franziska worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Political Sociology and Social Policy. Previously, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in the interdisciplinary program Politics & Economics at the University of Münster. Franziska’s research interests revolve around the political implications of the post-industrial transformations of labor markets, as well as political socialization and intergenerational family processes.
