Jan Stuckatz is a Senior Researcher at the Chair for Comparative Political Behaviour within the MINISTERIALLOBBY DFG project.

Jan’s research aims to understand how corporations and other interest groups leverage campaign donations, lobbying, and employees to influence politics. While these channels are often treated in isolation, Jan’s work focuses on the complementarities and strategic interaction between influence strategies to better understand how corporations shape democratic representation and the economy.

Previously, he was as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST) and as a visiting researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Jan earned his Ph.D. in Political Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in November 2019.
